Just as with our Baby Tinies Classes, we always take time out at the start of each and every Active Birthing class to check in with everyone and see how you are feeling.

Through our WhatsApp groups and discussions in class, women love that they can leave a term of Active Birthing classes with a ready-made support group of wonderfully supportive women, all in it together for the journey ahead.

As birth announcements start to come in, these ladies have each other for support in those early days and weeks, when things can sometimes seem a little overwhelming.

To see the friendships that develop as these ladies then come back with their babies to our Baby Tinies Classes and beyond is just incredible.

One last Christmas Tradition to follow! Tonight is Christmas eve and this one is special to me and my family as we are celebrating this Holy Night and Santa arrives in our home after a nice walk in the late afternoon.

Many children will put out their cookies or mince pies for Santa or a carrot for Rudolph and hang up their stocking - There are many countries which celebrate and open presents on Christmas Eve. Some of these are: Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Then there are some Countries which don't celebrate Christmas until January. The Greek Orthodox, Syrian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox and Romanian Orthodox churches, among others, celebrate Christmas on January 6 and again others on the 7th of January. These include: Belarus, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Russia.

I absolutley love learning about so many wonderful traditions around the world this year!
